  1. “A Storm”(Unit 4) 3rd Grade • Your teacher has asked you to imagine that you have walked outside one day and you see a storm approaching. This could be a rain storm, a hurricane, thunderstorm, tornado, hail storm, or any type of storm. • Before you begin to write, think about how you would describe a storm. What would you see, hear, and smell? • Now write a descriptive paragraph about the storm. • Your composition should have at least one paragraph. • Give details and enough information so your teacher will understand what happened. • Be sure to write clearly. • Check your writing for correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar. • Use transition words to show sequence. • Use a variety of descriptive words in your writing.
