  3. Discussion elements • Create this chart in your journal and complete it by discussing these elements at your table.

  4. Experience discussion • Let’s try what you’ve learned. • At your table, discuss the following: 7thgraders complain about their workload, but teachers think it’s preparation for 8th grade. Do you agree or disagree? Why?

  5. Debrief • What worked? • What didn’t work? • How can we improve?
