  5. Activity 2:   Small Group Video Production Tasks • To produce a brief (2 minute) video presentation, your team will • Sit down and lay out your ideas with paper and pencil. In your own classroom, you will emphasize to your students that planning will certainly save their hours of frustration later on, and that the key to finishing a quality video is to stat with pre-production. Pre-production planning will help you formulate a clear idea of what your video is trying to communicate. They will be evaluated on content and on form (technical skill with video and audio equipment.  • Refer to the web page "Planning your Video and Video Proposal Examples" for more information on how to make your video and how the video will be evaluated.  Evidence of project pre-planning, including the development of a storyboard for your video, are required for a project grade.  An example storyboard is shown on the "Planning Makes Perfect" web page. Activity 3:  Digital Storytelling • This individual project requires that you: • write an initial script (This is where it all begins). • plan an accompanying storyboard (Download Storyboard from a website) • discuss and revise the script • sequence the images in the video editor (Windows Movie Maker) • add the narrative track • add special effects and transitions • add a soundtrack if time permit • save your work as 1. "Project_Name.mswmm" and 2.
