  2. Greetings We greet you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also extend greetings to the anniversary celebrants and pray that God’s light continues to shine on us all. Amen.

  3. Child Birth • With gratitude to God Almighty we are happy announce the birth of a baby girl into the family of Adediran on Wednesday, 1st July. The naming ceremony will be held in the church on Wednesday, 8th July at 7pm. Father is in Fogo Band and mother is a new member.

  4. Appreciation • The Band of Joshua would like to thank the church for your support during their anniversary last week. • Likewise,Calvary School of Prophetic Ministry would like to express their gratitude to all who attended yesterday’s conference.

  5. Appreciation • The family of Olaniyan thank the church for supporting them during today’s naming ceremony.

  11. Good Women Trip • This is to inform all female members that the Good Women Band has organised this year’s trip to Eastbourne beach as part of the programme to promote further interaction amongst women fold in the church.

  14. Sunday School • Sunday school trip to Margate in Kent is scheduled for 26th July 2009. Parents are forewarned that late comers or those who do not attend without prior notice will be fined £10 or banned from further trips. Final letter will be given to parents next week.

  15. Sunday School Cont’d • Parents of children aged 0-5 are reminded that their child name should be written clearly on their bag and other items in their bags likes wipes and cups. From next Sunday children will not be accepted without their names written clearly on their bags.

  16. Sunday School Cont’d • Every child is expected to have their own individual bag, no carrier bags will be accepted. • Children who were absent for last weeks Bible Knowledge test will be tested today during the service.

  17. Youth Fellowship • The Youth Fellowship will like to announce their forth coming Christian Camp from 21-23 August 2009. The venue is Barnabas Adventure Centres, Frontier Centre, Northamptonshire. This is a 2 day self catering residential trip. Programme includes physical activities, football, Mountain Biking. The aim of the trip is to provide an enjoyable experience to the Youths.

  18. Youth Fellowship cont’d • The cost is £40 which includes food and transportation. The deadline for signing up and payment is 2nd July. For further details please contact Sis Anna Somuyiwa. • Today, during the service the Youth Fellowship will be holding a Youth Seminar on Christian Conduct.

  19. Daniel BandPre-Anniversary Prayer Meeting • This is to inform all members of Daniel band that the band’s pre-anniversary prayer meeting commenced two Sundays ago and would hold the last of the series on Sunday, 12th July immediately after the service. • Theme: “Oluwa Agbara Fohun, Bi Ara Loke Sinai”

  21. Finance • The church would like to thank all members for paying their tithes promptly. The Department would like to encourage members to pay their tithes by Standing Order or Give As You Earn directly into the church account.

  22. Finance cont’d • For members who do pay their tithes in this manner, you are please requested to bring your tithe books to the Finance Department for updating as we are now halfway through the Financial year.

  23. Pilgrimage • C&S Ife Oluwa No.5 is organising a trip to Jerusalem during October 2009. All members who are interested are advised to leave their names in the Admin office. The total fare payable is £645, inclusive of return flights and accommodation. Full payment should be made 4 weeks before the departure.

  24. Prayer Request Box • This is to remind the church that all prayer request preferably should be posted/received on Sunday by 08.30am however, the deadline for all request is 10am. Post box is located behind Choir stall.

  25. Vacancy • Members are reminded of the vacancy announced recently. The application process is now reopened until 18 July 2009. • This was as a result of low response and therefore encourage interested members to apply, it is an opportunity to work in the house of God without prejudice. Application forms can be collected from the Church Admin Office or downloaded from the church website. www.thenewcovenant.org

  26. Baba Aladura Football Tournament NCFC have kindly requested the support of all members to semi finals and final on Saturday 11 July at Parsloes Park. The match will commence at 10am.

  27. External Training C&S Bible College, Earlham Grove would like to announce the Certificate In Ministry Course. Course Fee: £250 Duration: 2 Saturdays in a month for 8 months The closing date for completed application forms is Saturday, 11th July 2009. For more information please contact M/S/Apos. Ojo

  30. External Invitation • C&S ,46 Park Lane cordially invite the church to 3 consecutive revivals commencing today 5th July, Sunday 12th July and Sunday 19th July. Guest Speakers are Bro Deji Babayemi, Pastor Mike Omolola and Pastor Femi Odusote. • The theme for the revival is “Walking in God’s Covenant”.

External Invitation • The Band of Holy Mary Ife Oluwa invite the church to their annual seaside retreat on 15/8/09. • The cost for this trip is £20 each, the coach will leave Copeland Road in Peckham at 9.00am. For more details contact the Admin Office. The Band also invites church to pre anniversary revival on 22/8/09 at 7.00pm.

External Invitations cont’d • Caring for the Carers – Church is invited to the next episode of the above taking place on 18 July at Daystar Bible Church, 73 - 75 Shacklewell Lane which starts at 12 noon to 6pm. This is a support group to equip the needs of Christians. • For more details please contact the Admin Office.

  33. Passing into Glory • The family of Akinpelu announce the passing of their father, grandfather and great grandfather Pa Stephen Olarenwaju Akinpelu. At the ripe age of 89. The burial ceremony will commence from 8th-10th July. • On the 8th the ceremony will be held at 19 Abayomi street, Akoka, Yaba.

  36. Spiritual Revelations cont’d • The Lord says we should pray for steadfastness as some will begin to take on a shaky faith which will be tested. The Lord has said that with Him there is fullness of joy. • The Lord is asking that we devote a Shiloh service this month to those seeking Him for the blessing of the womb.
