  2. Growing Up • New Market Va – Exit 264 off I – 81 • One Sister who is a CPA with her own firm. • Avid Golfer since age 8 • Avid Motorcyclist since age 10 • Enjoyed board games • Learned Chess at age 22! While in the Air Force to pass down town. • Left Air Force E6 after 8 Years.

  3. East Tennessee • Graduated from ETSU after AF time with a Degree in Elementary Education • Met my (future) wife via her brother who was my dorm-mate. We have now been married over 15 years. • Moved to Fredericksburg, VA where we taught public school for 4 years.

  4. Overseas - Kuwait • Took one year (actually 10 month) contract to teach in a private school in Kuwait. • Enjoyed it so much we spent 4 more years! • Completed Masters Degree in Educational Leadership while in Kuwait via onsite courses provided by the College of New Jersey. • Became Asst Principal and Director of K-12 Curriculum.

  5. Overseas - Lesotho • Pronounced “le soo too” is a Kingdom surrounded by South Africa. • Was appointed Director of the American School. I was the youngest Director in the overseas community at that time!

  6. Overseas - Lesotho • Began Ed Specialist Degree in C&I at University of Sarasota in Summers • Remained in Lesotho for 2 years

  7. Overseas - Eritrea • Appointed Director after success in Lesotho. • Began 4 year commitment to redevelop school, leading to its first ever accreditation. • Completed Ed.S degree in 2001. • Left last year to began Doctorate in Curriculum.
