Yet one critical aspect of preparation for college and the world of work is sometimes neglected in reform agendas. Success in the global workplace requires 21st century skills, knowledge, and technological savvy. Best-selling author Thomas L. Friedman of The NY Times says it best: “We need to get millions of American kids, not just the geniuses, excited about innovation and entrepreneurship again.”

  3. PROVEN SOLUTIONVirtual Enterprises International VEI is an applied learning instructional model for business, economics, entrepreneurship, finance and technology. VEI allows students to create and manage a business. VEI is a live simulation where students conduct business with other VE firms in a global network.
