Whatis i-portunus? • i-Portunusis an initiative funded by the European Union, to help artists and culture professionals take advantage of short-term and flexible cross-border opportunities: to move between European countries, develop international collaborations and audiences, and fully benefit from – and contribute to – Europe’s diverse cultural ecosystems. • The results of this pilot project will be key in shaping a new mobility support action in the Creative Europe programme, 2021-2027.

Whatis i-portunus? • LENGTH OF MOBILITY • A mobility must be between 15 and 85 days in length. • FOCUS DISCIPLINES • The focus is limited to two sectors: Performing Arts (Circus, Dance, Opera, Performance, Puppetry, Street Art, Theatre) Visual Arts (Crafts, Design, Digital arts, Fashion, Fine arts, Graphicarts, Photography). • TYPES OF MOBILTIY • International Collaborations • Production-orientedresidencies • Professional development • Presentation • Cultural change MOBILITY For i-Portunus,mobilitymeansa tripabroadfor professional purposes. Itmightbetravellingtoa professional artistresidency, topresentyourworkfor international audiences, toexhibitionorshowcase, toworkwithculturalprojectpartners, todevelop international collaborations etc.

Howtoapply? • Provide: • Personal Details • Education • Work Experience • Details of plannedmobility • Information on project • Feedback on applicationprocess • 18+ • Legal Resident of Creative Europe Country Head to: my.i-portunus.eu • Upload as PDF (Max. 10 MB): • 1 Page CV • Portfolio (Max. 10 Pages) • Proof of Preparation (Invitation Letter etc.) • SignedDeclaration on Honour Submitbefore: 24th June 2019, 14:00 (CEST)

  5. What‘snew in the secondcall? • Group Applications Group applications (upto 5 people) arenowpossible. In the firstCall, onlyindividualscouldapplyforfinancialsupport from i-Portunus. • Segmented Mobility • In the firstCall, all mobilitieshadtobecontinuous, meaningit was not possibletosplit the mobility into different parts. In the secondcall, applicantscanoptfor a segmented mobility. Each single trip in a segmented mobility must last a minimum of 5 days. The total number of days has to be between 15 and 85 days. Example: 10 Days in September and 8 days in October • Disability Support • Additional financialsupportcanbeprovidedtoartistsandcultural professionals livingwithdisabilities.
