Volleyball Positions • Setter– Quickest on the team, puts the ball in air for spiker, and is the captain • Liberos – Defense, take attack or serve, can be shorter and wears different jersey • Middle Blocker – very fast attacker, best blocker • Outside Hitter (Left) – Hits the ball the most • Opposite Hitter (right) - the blocker

  19. Techniques • Serve - Starting the game by hitting the ball to the other side • Bump (Pass) – Hit below head • Set – Putting ball in air, so other can spike it • Spike – Hitting the ball hard
