  4. The amount of time spent watching TV is related to a child being overweight. • No TV during meals. Reduce time spent on TV and video games

  5. Doctors say: • No TV for kids 2 or younger. • 2 hours or less a day for all other children.

  6. Have them help around the house and in the backyard

  7. Decrease the barriers to being active • Choose toys that promote physical activity • Make it fun! Instead of just running, run like a horse and hop like a rabbit.
