Summary (cont’d) New Hybrid Products – H3000/4000 Series • Allison Transmission Awarded U.S. Department of Energy Stimulus Grant for $62.8 Million for its Innovative Hybrid Truck Drive System • The fully automatic Allison Hybrid 3000 series gets better fuel economy than automated. • It uses engine power more efficiently, which equates to less fuel consumed. It also requires less assistance from the electric motor-generator and other system resources.
