HYPACK Remote Everything Survey Viewer Team Viewer Web Interface
Setup Your Own Wireless Network • Start an administrator command prompt • Type magic incantation • Check if your wireless adapter supports hotspot function (most of them do)
Setup Your Own Wireless Network • Type two more magic incantations: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=my-wifi key=super-secret netsh wlan start hostednetwork • You can change the SSID and key • Connect your other device(s) to the new network • When you want to stop: netsh wlan stop hostednetwork • Look mom, no hands!!
Survey Viewer • Oldest method in HYPACK to share survey screen between devices • Not (very) efficient. Can be used on a LAN but not across Internet • Grabs a copy of the screen and splashes it to the remote computer. No remote control. • Can be used only between Windows computers
Team Viewer • Best thing since sliced bread* ** • Both free and paid licenses. Free license has little limitations • A TeamViewer client comes with HPACK (“Remote Assistance” option) *According to self ** For remote access that is. For the rest stick to sliced bread
TeamViewer with Internet Access • Download and install program. If you haven’t paid for a license select “Free for personal use” • Give ID and passwordto your partner • ID stays the same forone computer • Password changes everytime
TeamViewer without Internet • Extras Options
TeamViewer without Internet • The ID changes to computer IP address:
HYPACK Web Interface Driver • Device driver that acts as a web server (technical name HTTP protocol server) • The web pages can be redesigned • Potential access to all information available in shared memory areas
Configure WEBIF driver • Normally there is nothing to change
