  1. Ios Greece July 8, 2007 Hi Mom and Dad, I just arrived in Ios, Greece which is one of the most beautiful islands in the world! The picture on the front is the view I have from my room at the Far Out Beach Resort & Spa. Isn’t it amazing? When we got here, we went straight to the beach with our towels and cameras in hand. For dinner we went to a Greek taverna. I ordered a chicken Gyro and Melissa tried Moussaka. YUMMY! After, we walked around the shops to see what this little place was all about. Greece is known for their hand-crafted gold which all of the jewelry is made out of. If only our budget could afford it… Melissa and I couldn’t pass up Loukoumades, the Greek doughgnut.
