Develop your personal mission statement. • What are your interests? • What are your values? • What are your personal needs? • What do you want to be? • What do you want to do? What is Your Passion?
What areas of personal growth do you hope to achieve from your career? • How can you contribute to others through your job? • Do you have a mentor to help your career progress? • What will it take to become an expert in your field? • How can your passion become your job? Goals and Life Purpose
What skills do you possess? • What skills do you need to build on? • Training. • Writing skills. • Presentation skills. • Assertiveness training. • Seminars. • Formal Education. Educate Yourself
Do you dress professionally? • Do you manage your time? • Are you a team player? • Do you anticipate success? • Do you set priorities? What Do You See?
If you write your goals down, you are committing to achieving them. • State your goal, how you plan to achieve it, and when you will achieve it. • List your short- and long-term goals. • Short-term goals outline what you will accomplish within the next 3 years. • Long-term goals describe achievements that will take place in the next 5 years or more.
