  8. The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons.

Connectivity (online information access) • Voice mail & email: voice mail is a telephone answering machine whereas, email is a soft-ware controlled system that links computer by wired. • Telecommuting: the standard of commuting, working at home or anywhere in the world • Teleshopping: shopping at home (home shopping) • Database: a collection of electronically stored data. The data is integrated or cross-referenced. • Online network: social media like FB or IG.
