What Is Well Being? • How individuals perceive &experience mental, physical, social and spiritual health; financial security; and sense of purpose • Vital Community Conditions • basic needs for health & safety • life-long learning • meaningful work & wealth • stable housing • healthy environment • reliable transportation • sense of belonging & civic muscle …which helps all of us to reach our full potential!

  5. Time to Pivot… • From Pain In the Nation • 43% Americans feel they are struggling. Life expectancy on decline. Deaths of despair are climbing. A college education is more necessary and out of reach for many. We are divided. As a country we are wealthy but not happy or healthy. • To Well Being In the Nation • Communities are demonstrating that they can create the conditions for all more people to participate, prosper and reach their full potential. Change is within our reach!
