  3. What are Floods Caused by • Floods are caused by rainstorms , slow water runoff , earthquakes , broken dams , under water volcanic eruptions , tsunamis , hurricanes.

  4. How to Keep Safe From Floods • How to keep safe from a flood. Construct barriers such as beams , sand bags. From entering your home.

  5. One of the Biggest Floods Was the North China flood it took place in 1939 500,000 people died.

  6. The Power • Rushing water is so powerful. That it resembles a wall of concrete. Just a bathtub weighs about 1,500 pounds. Imagine that coming at your home.

  7. A Difference There's two types of floods. One is a flood then there's a flash flood. The difference is a flood takes seven to six days to come a flash flood takes six hours.
