  6. Our Journey to Buriganga Organizing a Human Chain on Buriganga issue

  7. Our objective: To make people aware of the extinction of the rivers and its ultimate evil consequences on environment

  8. Causes of loosing our rivers Sediments ( 200 core tons per year) canals, lakes, swamps, marshy lands are getting filled. Engrossment ( human settlement, building infrastructures, and river erosion) Farakka Brigade and interventions of human being as well as the Tista and Ti-PaiMukh brigade

  9. Buriganga is getting polluted by human and industrial wastes Withdrawal ( dry period of Bangladesh and Dogmatism of India) Backland Brigade 1864 on the bank of Buriganga. Erosion of rivers Down esteem of sands in the rivers Human intervention
