The Story Of The Three Sons Of The Seventh By Mark Rongoe
Once upon a time, in the great kingdom of Heaven, there were three angels who were born from the Seventh. We were given our symbols, our powers, and people. Our father even gave us our own worship steeples. My first brother was born, Judaism was his name. Magic was his given power, the Star of David, his symbolic claim.
Then came my birthing, Allah blessed me with life. Islam is what he called me, and he bestowed me strength and might. The symbol mark I wore was the crescent moon of the night. Followed me was the last angel, he would complete the three. An angel gifted with wisdom, his name was Christianity. A crucifix that he adorned, powerful was he.
Our heavenly father forbade us to unite, for fear of what we would become. How could we possibly overtake the being we were spawned from? Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, the only differences were our names. The God we worship and glorify, is all one and the same.
We could no longer bear this separation, Judaism and Christianity knew what had to be done. We ignored our father’s divine order, and we merged into one. As us three became one, a great thunder was heard ahead. The Seventh knew what we had done, we were sure we would be dead.
“My three sons, I sensed, but could not believe. Out of all heavenly beings, it is I, you have deceived…a grave and dreadful consequence you all must receive.” Our punishment was swift, for rebelling against our father’s heavenly command. We were cast down from the sky, to fight on the earth of dirt and sand.
“For rebelling against your God and creator, I command you do the same amongst each other. If you wish to return back home, fight your beloved brothers.” “I could not bear the thought of harming my flesh and blood”, I said to Christianity and Judaism. We cried and we wept, as we walked this earthly prison.
As we roamed the Earth in desperation, Christianity halted in his place, a look of fear overtaking his now pale face. He turned to us, and said “I overhear the Seventh talking in the sky.” At this, we all tuned our ears to the kingdom up high. “I have observed the hearts of man, and am filled with sorrow, with what I have seen. I shall a send a mighty storm and flood to wipe this land clean.”
“We must do something to prevent this” Judaism said. I uttered “We must convert mankind from their sinful ways, before Allah’s wrath leaves them dead.” Onto the city of mankind we fled, until we reached our destination. We gazed in horror at what we saw, an utterly sinful creation.
Men and women were immoral, selfish, and greedy. They fought and harmed another over earthly materials, and spared not a coin upon the sick and needy. “Please, please, stop what you are doing!” I said. “You have angered the mighty God, with your selfishness, and greed. We have come to preach salvation, which is what you all will need!” “Ha Shem is angered with you all.” Judaism preached. “Your lack of faith, and your love of sin will surely be your fall.”
The crowd spoke “Surely these three are joking.” A look of anger and confusion swept the crowd of faces, but it appeared they would not listen. “We are not kind to liars and jesters, if you don’t leave now, we’ll throw you all in prison.” At then, the crowd began to disperse, but one man named Noah appeared to stay. “I believe you three preach the truth. I have observed the weather, and the clouds become darker everyday.”
“You must build an ark of gopher wood, and it will house your beloved family. You must also set out, and obtain a pair of two of every animal you see.” And so the ark was finished, we were proud of his construction. “This ark will surely have the strength to persevere through God’s destruction.”
Overhead the sky had darkened, my brothers knew the storm was here. We rushed Noah’s family, and the animals, in the ark, as they prayed in states of fear. The water took the ground, the land soon became an ocean. The ark was now set in motion.
It had been 40 days, and 40 nights, the ark had sailed the water. My brothers and I began to wonder if our prayers were heard by our heavenly father. Then suddenly the ark came to a halt, and out the window, I glanced. “Noah, Allah has saved us all, we’ve reached dry land!”
Noah opened the door, and from the ark, we descended to part. “Finally my brothers, humanity is given a new start.” We then heard a great voice speak, as the sun began to shine: “My sons, I have casted you to earth, because you ignored the order of the divine. But you have proven yourself worthy by saving Noah, and saving mankind. So ascend back to Heaven, o children of mine.”
