  10. Functionality of EatFresh.org • Searchable recipe/cooking database • Can search in three ways: • food (broccoli), • cooking term (saute), • meal type (kid-friendly, SRO-friendly, etc) • Banners/Ads pushing info, such as: • Number of sugar cubes in a soda • Foods to be avoid if you have diabetes • Moderated forum • Users submit questions, nutritionist posts answers

  11. Who is creating the site? • The San Francisco Human Services Agency has contracted with Leah’s Pantry for content management of the site. LP will provide the majority of the content, including a wide range of Network materials. • SFHSA is processing a contract with a vendor specializing in web development and design. • LP will host the site for the first year, maintaining content, moderating forum, etc.

  12. What Counties can do: • Talk to your Human Services Agency Consortium about getting involved with EatFresh.com. (2) Fill out the survey we are passing around the room. We need your input on what County-specific information you’d like to see on the website. (Farmers markets, pantries, etc). (3) On the home page there will be a place that counties can click. They will get a template form that they will fill out with information that they’d like to get uploaded to the site, and submit it for review. (4) Leah’s Pantry will monitor the submissions, and do the uploads.

  13. Timeline Launch Date of EatFresh.org: • Early September, 2013 When to get involved? • Now! Tiana.Wertheim@sfgov.org adrienne@leahspantrysf.org
