  3. These adverbs are usually formed in Spanish by adding -mente to the singular form of the adjective. fácil fácilmente(easily) paciente pacientemente(patiently) normal normalmente(normally) puntual puntualmente(punctually) egoísta egoístamente(egotistically)

  4. If the adjective ends in -o, -mente is added to the feminine form. rápido rápidamente(rapidly) lento lentamente(slowly) serio seriamente(seriously)

  5. Therefore, these adverbs are formed by adding -menteto theFem. Sg. form of the Adj.
