ITunes. Getting started. These five lines tell you the important information about your iPod. This capacity bar tells you how much space you have left on your iPod. When you first plug in your iPod, iTunes will ask you to name your iPod.

  3. These five lines tell you the important information about your iPod This capacity bar tells you how much space you have left on your iPod

  4. When you first plug in your iPod, iTunes will ask you to name your iPod Every so often there will be free iTunes updates that can make using the program easier Then you can choose the settings you want for every time you plug in your iPod

  6. When you insert a cd to put onto iTunes it shows up under devices

  7. continued… when the cd starts importing, a orange circle like above will appear One at a time, as each song is done importing a green circle with a check inside of it will appear to let you know that song as been imported successfully

  10. After you select new playlist, you’ll be asked to name the new playlist Renamed playlist

  11. After you have renamed the playlist, you can then add the desired songs to the list

Stanford(Continued) • Stanford on iTunes is sponsored by the Office of University Communications • The Stanford project includes two site • First is a public site which includes courses, lectures, event highlights, music, and sports • Second is an access-restricted site for the Stanford community • This includes sites for course based material • Also sites for the entire Stanford community

Yale on iTunes U • Yale on iTunes U allows you to do the same things you were able to do with Stanford • You are able to view podcasts, courses, lectures, music, sports, and even news about Yale. • There are links that will even take you to Yale’s homepage • It is also a part of Apple’s iTunes U initiative

Berkley on iTunes U • Berkley again follows the same general path as Stanford and Yale • You are able to follow all the events happening on campus and course related material • It has a little different set up on iTunes, but it still follows the same purpose • It also is a part of Apple’s iTunes U initiative

General information • All these schools allow you to download there podcasts, lectures, and other events • These downloads can then be put onto your iPods in the form of mp3s • In a way it is just like buying a song from iTunes and then putting it onto your iPod • It is the same basic concept except these are all education based
