  1. All About Microsoft Azure Media Service

  2. Information Microsoft Azure Media Services is know as the AMS. Microsoft Azure Media Services (AMS) is an extensible cloud-based platform. It enables developers to build scalable media management and delivery applications. Media services are based on the REST APIs (Representational state transfer APIs). It also enables securely upload, store, encode and package video or audio content for both on-demand and live streaming delivery to various clients. There are some examples like TV, PC and Mobile Devices.

  3. Continue… Here you can build end-to-end workflows using only media services. and choose third-party components for some parts of your workflow. For example, encoding using a third-party encoder. and then upload, package, protect and deliver using the media services.   5. Create Azure Media Services Here present the steps for the creating Microsoft Azure Media Services. Open your browser and visit the Microsoft Azure Portal at azure.com Then select below option one by one Or you can search AMS using search box

Continue… Fill all the mandatory details required in next window: • Account name • Subscription • Resource group • Location • Storage Account Here when you click on Storage account option, it will show you all the storage account linked with Location chosen above while creating Media service. and then you have to create Storage Account.

  7. Create Storage Account Here Click on Create New and fill all the details: • Name: Name of Storage Account • Performance • Replication 

  8. Continue… Now go to the resource group to check that Azure storage account and Azure Media service account are listed there or not. From Azure Media service open the Overview section to check all the details. Here streaming endpoint default status is Stopped

  9. Azure Media Services Account Management Connecting Azure Media Services API • You can connect APIS using below 2 methods: • Connecting with user authentication • Connecting with user Service Principal

Continue… Uploading Videos to Media Services Account • Here we will upload files like audio, video, text, image etc. which will be stored at cloud and apply for streaming and processing processes. • For uploading files, • Visit Azure Portal • Navigate to More services >> Assets • open Left blade • Click on upload option
