Please add the attached slide to the corporate induction Health and Safety presentation as the new Slide 6, per Jackie’s request to ensure compliance with trust policy regarding dermatitis. According to the RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) 2013, any suspected contact dermatitis must be reported to the line manager and Occupational Health, and recorded on the Datix Incident Reporting System. The Occupational Health Department will notify the Health and Safety Manager where reporting to the HSE is required. Confidentiality will be maintained.

RIDDORReporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 In the event of suspected contact dermatitis the employee must advise the line manager, Occupational Health and record on the Datix Incident Reporting System. The Occupational Health Department will inform the Health and Safety Manager where a diagnosed condition may require reporting to the HSE under RIDDOR Medical confidentiality will be maintained at all times, within the statutory obligations of the Trust.
