  21. Metrics and StatisticsMilestones NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification

  22. Metrics and StatisticsYear one quality metrics 1/2 NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification

  23. Metrics and StatisticsYear one quality metrics 2/2 NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification

  24. Metrics and StatisticsHighlights • 6 new projects registered in the ETICS System • Approached by several software professional interested in ETICS • BalticGrid for the organisation of a tutorial • Cosmic Blue Team for organisation of a demo • ARC for more information on A-QCM • Around 700 accesses/month to the project web site • 6 well attended training events organised • 5 events organised by ETICS team to interested others (2 had been planned) NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification Brussels, 3 April 2009 24

  25. NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification Challenges

  26. Challenges and issues • Dissemination – no particular challenges need to be reported • Training - development of the training material took longer than expected due to difficulties in recruiting suitable personnel • Trial certifications: the late implementation of the needed A-QCM components implied postponing the start of the trial certifications • Commercial applications requirements: the analysis of the specific requirements highlighted differences in priorities of research and commercial users. NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification

  27. NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification Future Plans

  28. Future Plans • Dissemination towards markets not necessarily Grid related • Hannover Messe on 20-24 April (http://www.hannovermesse.de/homepage_e) • Service Wave 2009 • ICCSEA 2009 • A-QCM • Improvement and validation through feedback from experts and users • Start activities for presentation to ISO for standardisation • Organisation oftargeted workshops for identified potential users • Consolidation of the sustainability strategy NA2 - Dissemination, Training and Certification
