  1. TEST AND TAG COLOURS

  2. WHAT DO THE COLOURS MEAN? Appliances in your workplace that require testing and tagging are usually electrical items designed for connection by a flexible supply cord and plug top with 240v or 41 5 volt power. Once your test has been conducted, the technician will tag the appliance with a specified colored tag. This is used to show the general time (quarterly) the equipment was tested. This helps the business and following technician know when it was tested. This will be recorded in the following report. Previously, NSW followed a separate color system, but has now turned consistent with the other states. So now Victoria, NSW, WA, SA and QLD all have the same test and tag colors.
