Work Period • The student will complete the “create your own Middle East country” performance task in class using resources Social Studies textbook, workbooks. Computer and/or notes and their own creativity. The student will be given a performance task checklist to follow as they move through the steps of creating their own culture.
Closing • Students will use their checklist and rubric to do a self assessment to determine if they have all elements needed for standard mastery. • (5 mins)
