What (else) should the EMMC do? disciplines' flaws and assets, interdisciplinarity, obstacles and constraints to international co-operation, thematic networking, good practice and concrete results Focused topics for discussion • The EMMC's Excellence linked to the business sector, job creation and applied research • How the EMMC's are linked to the higher education policy decision-making hubs: institutional, policy and economic levels • EMMC's added value for European and/or third country students? • Regulated disciplines: legal, technical and content constraints to implement a pan-European EMMC Curriculum, assets and drawbacks of interdisciplinarity • Long term sustainability of the EMMC's: means for visibility, attractiveness and sustainability • The role of Alumni Associations: • promoting job opportunities • potential for interuniversities/interdisciplines alumni co-operation
