  2. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM The respiratorysystem is a systemmade up of tons of organs. There are 7 mainorgans that helpyourbodybreath. The wordrespiration is equal to the wordbreathing. The objetive of breathing is for the oxygen to be deliveredinto the body and for the carbondioxide to be taken out. The 7 mainorgans of the body that make up the respiratorysystem are the: -Nose -Pharynx -Larynx -Trachea -Bronchi -Lungs -Diaphragm

  3. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE NOSE: The nose is a veryimportantorganon the respiratorysystem because it is the first and the lastorgan that air goesthrough. The job of the nose is to clean the air so it dosent havedust when it gets to the lungs. This is possible because the duststaysstuck in the mucus and the air can go in clean. The nose also makes the air warmerif it is to cold and if it is to dry it makes it moistier.

  4. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE PHARYNX: The pharynx guides the air to moveinto the Larynx so it can then be vovedintoyourlungs.

  5. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE LARYNX: The larynx has a entrance that decides if the air goes in or not. If the substance is going to go in then the larynx opens wide open and when the substance is not allowed in the larynxcloses. When the air is goingthrough the parynx the larynx opens verybig so the air can gothroughfreely.

  6. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE TRACHEA: The tracheaconects the larynx and the lungs. Thisorgan is locatedon the neck. It is the onlyorganon the neck that is flexible. The trachea is made up of 16-20 cartilagerings.

  7. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE BRONCHI: The tracheabreaksdowninto 2 Bronchies that lead to the lungs. The Bronchiestransports the air from the trachea to the lungs. The Bronchiesthen break intoBrinchioles that are inside the lungs.

  8. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE LUNGS: The lungs are the mainorgan of the respiratorysystem. They are composed of manyparts like the trachea, bronchus, alveoli and the broncioles. What happens in the lungs? In the lungsit´swhere the oxygen is breathedinto the body and carbondioxide is breathed out.

  9. THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM THE DIAPHRAGM: The diaphragm is a muscle at the bottom of yourlungs. When you inhale air the diaphragmcontracts. Thismakes the space of the lungsbigger so more air can fit in the lungs. When you exhale the air the diaphragmexpands and the lungs now have a normal sizeforcingall the extra air to go out again.
