  1. Practical Guidelines  For The  Installation Of  Horse Fences Fences  around  a  horse  farm  are  features  that  attract  potential  investors  and  buyers  of  horse  acreage.  Equine  fences come in many designs and each type has its own  merits  and  demerits.  Use  the  following  types  when  installing a fence for horses. Before installation Every country has its own rules that pertain to livestock  fencing. There are those fences which are considered legal  while  others  are  prohibited.  I  some  states,  farmers  are  supposed  to  fence  a  portion  of  their  land  boundaries  between them and the neighboring land.

  2. In some places, if a farmer fails to fence for his livestock, In some places, if a farmer fails to fence for his livestock,  the authorities take action of installing a fence and charge  the farm owner. It is also good to inform the authorities  when putting posts along a fence so that underground  cables or water pipes may not be damaged. Construction The material to be used as fence must be environmental  conducive. In wet lads, wooden posts are not suitable, but  if installed, they need to be treated so that they don’t rot.   Certain  soils  are  poor  electric  conductors  hence  they  cannot be ideal for electric fencing. In areas frequented by  wildlife and strong winds, robust materials should be used  so  that  they  can  withstand  commotions  and  bending.  Wire mesh fence should be avoided in such places. If a  fence  is  to  be  constructed  in  curves,  posts  should  be  installed  using  concrete  as  a  strong  base  to  withstand  pulling forces of the tight fence. The posts need to be extra  long and go deep in the ground. If wooden posts are to be  painted, oil primers are the best foundations to apply on  the posts before painting with latex paint.

  3. Costs The cost of running a fence around a large area can be  expensive if vinyl is used. A typical wire mesh fence is  less costly. Remember that the whole area must be well  prepared, obstacles like trees removed, and the ground  leveled.  This  means  that  installing  a  horse  fence  is  laborious and so a horse owner needs to be ready for  this.
