  1. Year 11 : Revision Plan 2014 • The general rule is that students will attend and be registered in all lessons until half term. • Until the final exam it is imperative that subject teachers provide structured, supported revision during this time. • In subjects where the exam or coursework is completed teachers should supervise and support students in their revision for other subjects. To support colleagues and avoid students leaving lessons or claiming they have no work could HoDs put a folder on Pupil Shared clearly marked and containing some revision material. It would also be advisable to make these available on the school website and Nortle. It is crucially important to maintain a good working atmosphere up until half term. • If your whole class is timetabled for a presentation then teachers must accompany them and supervise the early lunch. If only part of your class is timetabled for a presentation if at all possible could class teachers merge the remaining students and send one teacher down to supervise. Lists of classes will be posted on the staffroom noticeboard. Early lunch will start at 12.10 and presentations will begin at 12.30. After the presentation staff should escort the students to the exam area by 12.50pm for the 1pm start. • Students may not be in your lesson for the following reasons: • They have an exam (this will be indicated on the time timetable) • They have a presentation for an exam (this will be indicated on the time timetable) • They are being given some additional one-one or small group support (you will be informed of names by RAH/FW) • After half term students can opt into school if they require a quiet area to study. Students who attend should sign in and out of pastoral. Students will also be expected to attend the super-revision sessions for imminent exams. • Students will have a Final Day celebration after break on May 23rdand will leave at about 2.30. • Thanks in advance for all your help and co- operation in ensuring that Y11s get the best possible support in the run up to the exams. • Any queries please don’t hesitate to ask. • Rachel Harrison or Faye Warkman
