  2. ePotential and ICON • The ICON project vision is that: • ICT functions at the school and sector level will be integrated to support contemporary learning which in turn will lead to improved student learning and improved business processes to make the work of school leaders and teachers more efficient. • The ICON strategy will support contemporary learning in Victorian Catholic schools for the next decade. ICON Integrated Catholic Online Network

  3. What is ePotential? • ePotential includes: • ePotentialTeacher ICT Capabilities Survey • ePotential Continuum • Resources bank • Reflections Journal • Planning Tool • Survey Analysis tool ICON Integrated Catholic Online Network

What is ePotential? ePotential is designed to: • Assist teachers develop their own ICT Professional Learning Plans. • Assist principals and Professional Learning • Leaders in their whole school eLearning planning. • Assist participating dioceses in evaluating • initiatives and school support services. ICON Integrated Catholic Online Network

  5. Taking the ePotential Survey • The ePotential Survey consists of multiple choice questions divided into seven key areas • To take the survey approximately 30 minutes is required for completion. However, there is value in completing one area at a time and pausing to discuss the implications in small or whole staff groups. • Only the respondent can access their own survey via secure login via Catholic Education Victoria Network (CEVN) ICON Integrated Catholic Online Network

Survey Confidentiality • All surveys are confidential to the recipient • Schools can only see the profile of the whole • staff and not individual responses to the survey • The principal can view a school’s profile. • The Catholic Education Office can view the • profile across the sector. ICON Integrated Catholic Online Network
