Bill was a very smart boy and his parents wanted him to become a lawyer. Bill was interested in other things. He was more interested in computers than he was in law. At the age of 18, Bill went to Harvard University, which is one of the hardest schools to get into in the United States. After two years at Harvard, Bill left school to concentrate on his company. It is called “Microsoft”. With all the brilliant ideas Bill and his friends had for the company, Microsoft quickly became one of the most successful companies in the world. Donates to charities Fact #1: In 2008, Bill Gates announced that he would stop working full time at Microsoft, to fully concentrate on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Fact #2: Today, he is the third richest person in the world. Apparently, he has about 58,000,000,000 dollars.
