The Halifax Kitesurfing School is one of the leading schools for Kitesurfing. The instructors have an experience of teaching more than 3500 hours in Canada and overseas and also we are certified by the International Kiteboarding Organization. We provide a safe training to learners because we have proper insurance and have also done all legal procedures for running a Kitesurfing school. Classes are provided in two main locations, namely, Stoney beach and Martinique beach. We provide training with quality gears and Bluetooth radio so that the learners can have a pleasant experience. INTRODUCTION • Kiteboarding is one of the world’s most popular and exciting new sports. However, it’s crucial to take proper lessons from an instructor. • Halifax Kitesurfing School provides classes in two places, namely, Stoney beach and Martinique beach. • Learn with confidence from an authorized and insured school and from IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) insured instructors.
ABOUT US • Our school has highly trained instructors who are experts of local conditions and the sport of kitesurfing. • Most importantly, our trainers have experience of 3500 hours in teaching in Canada and overseas. • Our classes are available all seven days a week, rain or shine.
Kitesurfing lessons • There are some critical skills to be learned before entering into the sport for safer training. • Some of the things that you’ll learn are: flying the kite, wind direction, wind speed, waves, current and riding the board. • By using radio helmet technology, you’ll learn the sport as fast as possible.
Available plans • Zero 2 hero, is mostly preferred by beginners who are wishing to get into the sport. This is an 8-hour course spread over 3-4 days. • Give it a try, is introduced for people who are new to sport and don’t want to yet commit to the full course. • If you’re new to riding a board, you can be pulled behind a jetski to focus on your board riding technique.
INSTRUCTOR • Head instructor, Mark Moore is the first professional kitesurfer from Nova Scotia. • He is also a level 3 instructor in International Kitesurfing Organization. • He has appeared in every international kitesurfing magazine, many times.
