  2. The way that you see colors is, when an object absorbs all colors except for one. The color the object does not absorb is the color you see. Color

  3. Mixing colored lights on a screen or other object. The way the additive color mixing works is, you add the colors together making a new color. The way this relates to shadows is, the penumbras of the lights mix. EX: The penumbra if the red light and The penumbra of the green light Parts of each of the penumbras touch Combining to make yellow. Additive color mixing

  4. Mixing pigments or dyes to absorb light of different colors. By mixing pigments you are absorbing more and more color, until you eventually get black. Subtractive color mixing
