The basic consumers rights are : • The rightto meet the basic needs –to have accessof basicgoodsand services; suitablefood, clothes, shelter, health cares, education, communal services, water-supplyandsewerage. • The right ofsafety – to be protectedof products, productionprocess and services,which is dangerous about health or life. • The right to be inform – to be protected about tricky or dishonestly advertisement so make inform choice. • The right of choice – you may choicefrom products and services, offeredfrom different competitors and securesatisfactoryquality. • The right to be listen to – to have representativeconsumers interest in governmentalpolitics, and indevelopmentproducts and services. • The right of compensation – to receive justcompensation forfraud, of poor quality commodityor unsatisfactoryservices. • The right consumers to be educated– to acquireknowledge and skills, necessary to inform us, sure decisions for commodity and services. • The righthealthenvironment–to live and work in surrounding that isn’tthreat present and future generation.

4. In our country the beginningconsumers protectionis since 1999 г. Thenwas created speciallow for consumers protectionand trade rules, whichfix betterbalancein interrelations on market amongproducers, dealers and consumers, to ensuresafetyonconsumptionand better quality of live and clearly rules on merchant activities. In connection with the timing Bulgarian legislation with Europeanat 10 June 2006 law entered into force for consumer protection, subsequently introduced an additional directives, which increased the level of consumer protection in Bulgaria. 6. 2008 г. IN BULGARIA… Non-traditional exhibition of the European consumers day. Commissioner MiglenaKuneva has launched the first ever EU award for best consumer campaign. In February 2008 year in Sofia opens European Consumer Centre . The theme is: Junk food generation. World Health Organization (WHO) wants an international codeforprohibiting the marketing of unhealthy food to children.
