Survival A mother leopard keeps her cubs safe from predators. She hides them in trees & dens. People are cutting down trees & taking the leopards territory to grow food. Some leopards survive even in desert areas.
Diet A leopard is a carnivore. A carnivore is a meat eater. Leopards hunt antelope, birds & small mammals. Leopards kill impala & zebra.
Habitat Leopards live in Asia & Africa. Snow leopards live in Asia . Leopards spend most of their lives in trees. They make their homes on rocky mountain cliffs.
Other Facts Two or three cubs are born in a den. A mother leopard keeps her cubs clean by licking them all over. The young leopards leave their mothers when they are about two years old.
