Oxford Biblical Studies Online offers the most respected and authoritative biblical reference titles and the finest scholarship in biblical studies. It is an online resource designed to provide scholars, graduate students, and undergraduates with a full range of tools used in the study of the Bible and biblical history. It contains 6 bibles (the New Oxford Annotated Bible, the Oxford Study Bible, the Jewish Study Bible, the Catholic Study Bible, the Access Bible and the King James Bible), 2 Apocrypha, 2 concordances, the Oxford Bible Commentary and over 6,000 entries from Oxford reference titles such as the Oxford Encyclopedia of Archaelogy in the Near East.

Results come from several different sources, such as A Dictionary of the Bible, The Oxford Companion to the Bible, the Encyclopedia of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Jewish Study Bible. Simply click on the heading to open the page.
You can also look up a particular chapter and verse from the Bible.
From here, it is easy to compare two versions of the Bible side by side. Here we are looking at the first chapter of Genesis in the King James Bible and the New Oxford Annotated Bible.
