  2. Cell Brochure Activity • Objective: SWBaT explain the functions of a cell by creating a cell brochure.

  3. What is the purpose of a Brochure? • The purpose of a brochure is to captivate an audience. • Generate Money by getting customers to come to your business.

  4. Contents of a Brochure • Persuade the reader of some message. • Key points. • Statements are supported with convincing details. • Brochures are visual, creative, and attractive.

  5. Project Description Page 1 • must have the name of your Roadside attraction/ amusement Park • Colorful, Attractive, and Inviting to customers • At the bottom right corner of the page, write your name and block number.

  6. Project description • Remaining Pages must describe key term(s), pictures and the highlight of the attraction. • All 4 pages must have the Attraction/ride and details specific to the function of that organelle. • You may include more than one ride or attraction on a page. • Page 5 is the center back page. This page will be the summary of your amusement park/roadside attraction. You will explain why customers should come, or visit again.

  7. Animal Cells Must include all of these key terms: • Plasma cell membrane • Cell Membrane • Nucleus • Nuclear membrane • Vacuoles • Mitochondria • cytoplasm

  8. Plant cells Your brochure must include the following key terms: • Cytoplasm • Cell membrane • Nucleus • Nuclear membrane • Central vacuole • Chloroplasts • Cell wall • Mitochondria
