  3. Performance Improvement Goal • Goal: Decrease time between initial contact and assessment for Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient clients. Change #1: Increase number of available assessment appointment times and send no phone screens to voice mail Decreased time between phone screen and assessment from 6.76 to 5.62 days Increased number of assessments from 23 to 45 Increased admission to IOP 6 SAAS

Change #2: Walk-in appointments between 8 and 10 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. for all clients within catchment area (1 to 1.5 hr. drive to Portland) Decreased time between phone screen from catchment area and assessment from 4 to 2 days Increased number of assessments from catchment area from 4 to 18 Increased admissions to both IOP and OP by 3 SAAS

  5. Immediate Ramifications for Crossroads for Women Greater acuity of clients Increased revenues Increased diversification of staff responsibilities Increased need for case management, medical and psychiatric consultations SAAS

Changes Incorporated Walk-in assessments and no phone screens to voice mail Limited double booking by staff Scheduled staff availability for phone screens and to assess walk-in Changes Anticipated Need for increased ability to offer IOP/OP services requiring more space and more clinicians Need for improved tools to provide more services more efficiently SAAS
