  2. Justice and Fairness • that people receive their "fair share" of the goods available; • that people receive "fair treatment" from society's institutions; • that people's actions conform to rules of "fair play"; • and that any injustices are adequately addressed.

  3. People who have had an impact on Justice and Fairness • One of the Greats, Aristotle • Idea: Equals should be treated equally and unequal's should be treated unequal.

  5. Criticisms • Health Care Highly expensive Too expensive for the poverty stricken

  6. Unfair Wages • Burdens on other countries around the world

  9. Equal Opportunities • Inner City school districts • Kids don’t have a chance to receive a decent enough education to succeed in life

  10. Unfair Money Distribution • So little is given to the schools who really need it • Why are we giving all the money to schools who don’t need the extra funding

  11. Criticism • Does everybody deserve the basic needs to live? • Murderers • Rapist • Child molesters

  13. Is it Fair that we buy inexpensive goods from someone else’s under paid labor?

  14. Is it right that young American children are not getting the education they need simply because of were they live?

  15. And is it right, that young children don’t receive good health care because of the well being of their parents?
