  2. RELIGION Most people in Greece practice the Greek Orthodox Religion

  3. TRADITIONS • One tradition is line dancing at weddings, parties, festivals, and other occasions • Another tradition is to dye eggs red • Also, Greek people hold long ceremonies for weddings and walk around the altar three times

  4. FOOD/CLOTHING • Food includes a lot of olive oil, natural fruits, and vegetables • Classical clothing includes long drapes of wool

INTERESTING FACTS • Greek traditions are known as being the oldest in the world • The Olympics originated in Greece • The Greek National Anthem is very long; it has 158 verses • The yo-yo originated in Greece 3,000 years ago • The most important members of Greek society were the priests • According to Greek mythology, Zeus was the ruler of all Gods
