  2. Napalm victims Pulitzer-Prize winning photograph. A girl runs naked down a road, screaming in pain from the napalm that was burning through her skin.

  3. Napalm is jellied gasoline. It burns fast and hot. By being jellied it sticks to whatever it hits. Napalm would kill directly or start a fire. It was used to flush out the enemy. • The US dropped nearly 400,000 tons of napalm during the Vietnam War.

  4. Agent Orange • Chemical that was used to strip trees of their leaves and to kill foliage • Intent was to destroy the rice crops to deny VC food and to clear paths, so you could see the enemy.

  5. Consequences of agent orange • Cancer • Sterile • Birth defects and deformities (Agent Orange seeped into the soil and water supply, and therefore into the food chain. It passed from mother to fetus) • Some AO landed on our own troops. Veterans complained of serious health issues and were having children who were limbless or with DS and SB
