  3. Eager (adj.) Anxious(adj.) • To have/suffer from anxiety /worry • Synonyms: afraid(c)/ aghast(c),concerned, nervy, nervous Excited or worried Synonyms: agog, ardent, keen, intent, enthusiastic.

  4. Usage She anxiously/eagerly paced the corridor, a frown on her face! • I was anxiously/eagerly waiting at the train station for my father who was on his way home from the front.

  7. Apprise (v.) Appraise(v.) • To put a value on something • Synonyms: adjudge, gauge, evaluate, valuate To notify Synonyms: inform, enlighten , brief.
