Protection of the environment - a set of measures designed to limit negative effects of human activity on nature.
Such measures may include: • Limitation of emissions into the atmosphere and hydrosphere in order to improve total environmental situation. • Creation of reserves and national parks to preserve natural systems. • Limitation of fishing, hunting, in order to preserve certain species. • Restricting unauthorized release of waste.
Measures against air pollution: • regulation of pollutant emissions, • control of emissions of harmful substances; • use of economic sanctions; • financing environmental activities.
Measures against pollution of hydrosphere: • Conduct erosion control measures; • Use a consistent system of wastewater treatment; • Creation of protection zones.
Protection of land and measures to protect soil: For restoration of the soils polluted by toxic industrial wastes (including lead, arsenic, zinc and copper) new subspecies of earthworms which possess the albuminous complex, neutralized dangerous connections can be used.
Forest conservation. • Such measures as are used • Fight against forest fires; • Fight against wood violations; • Protective measures.
In conclusion protection of environment advances to the forefront. Consequences of insufficient attention to a problem can be catastrophic. That degradation of environment can appear irreversible is especially disturbing.
