History • November 1621- The first corn harvest proved successful so Gov. William Bradford organized a celebratory feast that lasted 3 days. • Pilgrim chronicler Edward Winslow wrote in his journal that Gov. Bradford send 4 men on a “fowling” mission and the Wampanoag guests arrived to the feast with 5 deer. • November 1623- The second celebration was a religious fast.

Assignment • Write a script for an invitation, inviting someone to join you for a Thanksgiving meal. • Chose either the “traditional” food or a meal from the original celebration. • Include in your invitation the foods you will be having. • After writing your script, go to the computer and record a podcast, edit it, and upload it to the class’ podbean account, and then upload it to the class’ wiki.
