  3. They Forsook All • Forsook their way of life • Heb 11:24-27 (Moses forsook riches of Egypt) • Forsook earthly relationships • Mt 19:8-12 (Eunuch for the kingdom’s sake) • 1 Cor 7:7-9

They Forsook All • When work is required, are we ready or do we linger on still in pursuits of this world? • Isa 6:8 • “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I!   5. All Forsook Him • Mk 14:50 – “…they all forsook Him and fled.” • Mk 14:31 – All said they would never leave and were willing to die with Jesus. • Mk 14:38 – watch and pray…the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

They Forsook All After the events of Mk 10:17-23, Peter says “See we have left all, and followed you.” (vs. 28) • What about those who would forsake all for God? • Mk 10:29-30 – The spiritual compensation for physical abandonment far excels in value. • “…and in the world to come – eternal life.”
