  5. All Forsook Him • Mk 14:50 – “…they all forsook Him and fled.” • Mk 14:31 – All said they would never leave and were willing to die with Jesus. • Mk 14:38 – watch and pray…the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

They Forsook All After the events of Mk 10:17-23, Peter says “See we have left all, and followed you.” (vs. 28) • What about those who would forsake all for God? • Mk 10:29-30 – The spiritual compensation for physical abandonment far excels in value. • “…and in the world to come – eternal life.”
