ALIENATE • Def: (verb) to turn away; to make indifferent or hostile; to transfer, convey • Syn: separate, drive apart, estrange • Ant: befriend, attract, captivate, reconcile • Sent: After her best friend alienated her, she decided to befriend new people who were more loyal.
