AIMS & OBJECTSof INTUC vTo secure speedy improvement in conditions of work and life and also the status of the workers in industry and society. vTo secure for the workers social security, including adequate provision against accidents, maternity, sickness, old age and unemployment. vTo secure fair wages for every worker in employment and to bring about progressive improvement in their standard of living. vTo foster the spirit of solidarity, service, co-operation brotherhood and mutual help among the workers. vTo develop in the workers a sense of responsibility towards the industry and community. vTo improve the workers’ efficiency and sense of discipline.
