MONDAY Research • You will navigate to The Thirty Greatest Mathematicianswebsite. http://fabpedigree.com/james/greatmm.htm • Research the top 5 Mathematicians of all time • Isaac Newton • Carl F. Gauss • Leonhard Euler • Archimedes • Bernhard Riemann • Assignment: Due on Tuesday • Print out the information about each individual and bring them to class. • Read the background story for all 5 Mathematicians

TUESDAY – WEDNESDAYSummary Pick 1 of the 5 Mathematicians that you researched for today's class Assignment: Due on Thursday Go to Wikipedia and type in your mathematician Conduct more research Print and turn in the mathematicians' Wikipedia page Complete a 3 paragraph summary on the Mathematician of your choice Why you picked him? What did he do? Type of math? What did you learn? Go to Google Images and type in the Mathematician of your choice. Include one picture for your summary

Thursday-Friday Presentation Poster Presentation Assignment Due on Monday Make a 2 minute presentation for the class Use your poster to help • Assignment Due on Monday • Create a poster of your mathematician • Include the information you found • Summary • At least 3 pictures • Go to Google Images and include a picture of the type of math your mathematician worked on. • Example: Calculus
