Response to Flooding- 14/15 December 2012 • 2006 hours 14th – Call regarding navigation light on the Granary Shorehead had been dislodged due to high winds. • 0202 hours 15th – Call received re flooding at Turners Court • 0245 hours 15th – Call received regarding flooding at Hanover Court. • 0248 hours 15th – Major Incident declared. • 2000 hrs 14th – 0700hrs 15th 336 calls received by the Force, 346 incidents raised – 33 related to K & M area

Response to Flooding- 23/24 December 2012 • 2044 hrs on 22nd – identification of flooding on Slug Road exiting Stonehaven • 0357 hrs on 23rd – initial call re a house effected by flooding • 0423 hrs on 23rd Major Incident declared • 0230hrs 23rd to 1800hrs 24th – 1701 calls received by the Force, 631 incidents raised, 114 of which related to K & M area

  3. Key Aspects • Good understanding between partners regarding roles during incidents • 2) Strategic Intentions were met • 3) Strong staffing levels available during both events
